Discussions With Another Guild

We are in discussion with another guild to consider the possibility of a guild merge.

Please note that no decision has been reached as yet as to whether we will merge (on our side or their side.) Before it would go ahead, we would need to get our officers together and decide we are happy with the idea, and if the officers are keen, we'll invite input from all of the guild.

For now, we are exchanging some information, and we want to set up some shared guild events to get to know each other a bit. At the moment we're intending it to be this coming weekend.

This really sounds like a good idea. It looks like they have scheduled a ZG run for saturday with the intent of getting to know each other. We probably should make that more visible on our end, either just in announcements, on our Vent channel, or do a combined vent channel like the old MC runs in JP.

It also might be a good idea to, within a few days of the run, schedule a meeting time in Vent or guild chat.
